Beautiful People--June 2014 Edition

Friends and family, 'tis I!

And back with yet another Beautiful People post--and you might notice that this one is just under three years old. That is because the Beautiful People challenge has been around for years, and I had so much fun with the last one, I am going to try and go back and do ever one that they have ever released. I believe there are 30+, so it will undoubtedly take awhile. But, oh well.

I will also be experimenting with ways

Beautiful People was created by bloggers Cait and Sky. Check 'em out, eh?

I will be using my character Leo, who is an anatum. What's an ‘anatum’, you ask? An anatum is a special human-hybrid that can turn into a certain anatel. And, before you ask, anatels are mythical animals/animal-like things. (Aha, much better brief character introduction, huh?)

Alright, onto the post!

What is their full name and is there a story behind why they got it?
Leone Peter Agostino. His dad always liked the name Leone, his mom's grandfather's name was Peter, and his dad's last name was Agostino. Bam, "Leone Peter Agostino". He prefers "Leo", though.

How old are they, and when were they born?
He is 17 years old, and he was born on February 29th, 1932 (yes, he's a leap year child, so technically he'd only be 4 when it comes to how many of the days he was born on have passed).

Describe their physical appearance. (Bonus questions: 1. What is their race/nationality/ethnicity? 2. Do you have a picture of them? If so, include it!)
Dark brown (practically black) hair that is combed back, tan/olive skin, big brown eyes, warm smile. Italian-american ethnicity (italian dad, american mom.

Describe your character’s personality first in one word, and then elaborate with a few sentences.
Curious. Leo's always been interested in things, and he craves knowledge. He likes school (gag), he adores studying his surroundings, and pondering over what certain things do. He would probably be the one to touch the big, red button that ends up blowing up some facility.

What theme song(s) fit their personality and story arc?
Ironically, he's the one of the only characters of mine that I've never put much thought into a theme song for. But, "One Jump Ahead (reprise)" shows a bit of his personality.

Which one of the seven deadly sins describes your character?
Pride.

If they were an element (fire, water, earth, air), which one would they be?
*wheezes and whispers entire Avatar opening*
Probably earth.

 What is their favorite word?
"Wow."

Who’s one person they really miss? (It could be someone who’s passed away, or someone they’re not close to anymore, or someone who’s moved away.)
Leo misses his dad a lot (he died in a factory accident).

What sights, sounds, and smells remind them of that person?
Sights: the black-and-white family photos on the walls, the factory, and the baseball that Leo had caught when he and his dad went to a Babe Ruth game.
Sounds: "Ain't Misbehaving" by Fats Waller (his dad's favorite song)
Smells: The strong scent of coffee

Hope y'all enjoyed getting to now Leo a little bit! And im not sure why some of this has black letters with a white highlight, the highlight is marked as off--sorry about that.

Thanks for reading!
